Who we used

We got married at the Summit Lodge in Killington Vermont. It is a beautiful place- pretty grounds for an outdoor ceremony. Nice living room in case you need to move indoors. The patio and pool area are very nice too. The food was scrumptious! Everyone raved about it. Cindy (their wedding planner) was easy to work with and helped out with the details. It was nice being the only wedding so we could set everything up and choose our own times.

Flowers were by Bloomin Petals in Castleton. Theresa knew her flowers and made some good recommendations- what was in season, color choices. They turned out beautiful and were perfect for the day!

Photographer was Philip Topa of Keene, NH. He did a great job- the pictures were wonderful. He was not obtrusive, and didn't get upset if other people took pictures too.

DJ was Jeremy from Lou's Mobile. By far the worst DJ I have ever heard in my life. He didn't bring our song, he never did the father/daughter dance, he didn't play our suggestions, and when he spoke it was in a mumble so you couldn't understand him.

During the ceremony and cocktail hour, we had Tom Vitzhum play classical guitar and lute for our guests. I'll confess that I never heard him- as I was always elsewhere taking pictures, etc. My guests tell me that the music was elegant and perfect for the event.

Paul Gaskill was supposed to videotape our wedding and he never showed up. He was very apologetic about it. Still, we don't have a wedding video. :-(

Our Minister was Shirley Oskamp Colletti. She was very nice and helped us write our vows.
