Jake & Hans
Jake and Hans are my two boys. Jake is a huge New Zealand White. He
was very timid when he first arrived at my house. He is losing his
fear of people and now will come running up to you for treats. His
favorites are banana (but not too brown!) and raisins. Hans is my
sweet little chocolate dutch. He is very outgoing and loves to beg
for food. He has been so focused on begging that I have gotten him
to walk on his hind legs! Hans also has a preference for people
food over rabbit food. He loves ice cream, macaroni, rice, potato
chips. (all foods a bunny isn't supposed to eat!) He has also stolen
hamburger and chicken- which I quickly took away from him. Yes- buns
are supposed to be vegetarians. I guess that Hans doesn't understand
he is a rabbit. The best way to get him to eat his greens is to
leave the grocery bags out so that he can steal them.
